Former Playboy Playmate Kendra Wilkinson was taken to the hospital after she was involved in a car crash in Los Angeles Sunday. She was spotted entering the Providence Tarzana Medical center and sources say that the 27-year old mother was “in shock” and “really sore” after the accident.
Wilkinson is now married to former NFL player Hank Baskett III and mom to 3-year-old Hank Baskett IV. Doctors released her from the hospital after determining that she did not suffer any serious injuries.
“She was taken in earlier. She was discharged already,” another source told the magazine.
She recently quit the ABC diving competition show “Splash” because of her fear of heights.
“No joke, I start spinning, I start wanting to throw up, I’m shaking, my fingers wiggle,” she told E! News recently. “It’s like a real thing, when my fingers wiggle — that’s, like, a truth.”
On Monday morning, Wilkinson rebounded with a Tweet. “Thank you for all well wishes,” she wrote. “Just really reminded me how fragile life really is and how important love really is.”
“I’m so sorry, everybody. It’s bittersweet. One thing I don’t do is quit. This is the first time in my life I’ve quit something. This will haunt me for the rest of my life,” she said.
Wilkinson’s exit stemmed from her inability to take a dive from a 23 foot platform. In a statement she said, ‘I’m so sorry, everybody. It’s bittersweet. One thing I don’t do is quit. This is the first time in my life I’ve quit something. This will haunt me for the rest of my life.’
According to reports she was traveling alone during the time of the accident. On Tuesday photos of Wilkinson’s black were released. The picture shows the sports car’s badly damaged bonnet as well as the car she crashed into which also suffered major dents and damages.
Aside from the Tweet, Wilkinson’s representative has not commented on the star’s hospitalization and car accident.
